annuit coeptis - He (God) Favors Our Undertakings ( The phrase is from the Latin poet Virgil and can be verified by visiting
novus ordo seclorum - New Order of the Ages. (Variations of this translation include: "A mighty order of ages is born anew" or "The ages' mighty march begins anew" or "The great series of ages begins anew." The phrase definitely does not mean "new world order." If you go to which is an online Latin dictionary, you'll find Latin for "world" is "mundus")
