Hi all! Here is what happened to me....A few years back an ex landlady of mine (we rented a house from her) was given a brand new ouija board as a gift from her Mother. I had never tried one before and one evening I received a call from her inviting us over for coffee. My wife was tired so I went there alone. She lived right next door to us so I just walked over. She is a somewhat dizzy person in general but VERY nice. While I was there drinking my coffee in her kitchen and talking about this or that I noticed on the counter the ouija board. I asked about it and what it was supposed to do and she was a little unsure...she opened the box for the first time, we took turns reading the directions and we both decided to give it a try. Here we are, fingers on the pointer and we start asking questions to the board....I ask, "Will my wife get pregnant again?"....the pointer didn't move. We both smile and then she asked, "How many puppies will my dog have?"...no answer again. The pointer didn't move. A bunch more questions follow and again, the pointer didn't move at all. We gave up. Then my landlady did something so strange...she got on the phone, called her mother to find out where her mother had bought the ouija board. Her mother replied where it was bought and I hear my landlady say "OK Ma...I was just wondering because this one doesn't work-I want to exchange it" SHE DID THE VERY NEXT DAY! She took the board back to Ames Department Store here in little Albion, NY and TOLD CUSTOMER SERVICE that the board doesn't work, must be broken and she wanted to exchange it! She said they laughed a little bit "for some reason" but they let her exchange it! She asked me to try again with her some other time and I did a few nights later just to humor her...same result. Yes, she is a little dizzy but VERY NICE! If I feel like wasting time again in the future, I will do the ouija board....ITS THE IDEAL WASTE OF TIME (in my opinion) If it works for you then GREAT! I just know we waiting for it (the force or whatever) to "pull" the pointer and we didn't want to move the pointer ourselves. WHAT DID WE DO WRONG?????
